Title: Web Development Intern

Description:

We are looking for a mature, energetic and hard working college student who is interested in joining a small but growing company located in South Philadelphia. This is a paid internship with the potential for part-time work during the academic year and eventually a full-time position. Our work environment is casual but fast-paced and team oriented.

As a web development intern, you will assist our team with a variety of projects, including:

• Translation of Photoshop documents and wireframes into web pages and stylesheets
• General maintenance, including bug fixes, copy changes, and other updates
• Creation of mockups, prototypes and other materials for client presentations
• Research of emerging web technologies and techniques
• Testing and troubleshooting

Qualifications:

• Junior or Senior studying web design, information technology, or a related field of study.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Familiarity with programming and relational databases
• Knowledge of web standards best practices
• Knowledge of web browser compatibility issues and workarounds (Mac and PC)
• Knowledge of accessibility laws and accessible development techniques
• Ability to complete tasks independently and under pressure
• Attention to detail
