Sunny Valley International has been a supplier of fresh fruits and vegetables to the North American market since 1986. Based in South Jersey, Sunny Valley is committed to marketing fruit for progressive-minded growers and providing customers with high quality products and service.
In 2005, Sunny Valley commissioned Orbis to craft a new logo and corporate identity. The company was looking for something simple that would effectively convey the freshness and quality that they valued in their assortment of products. After working closely with key members of the Sunny Valley team, Orbis developed a clean, bright logo that communicated the range of products offered by Sunny Valley without being limited to specific items. The logo was then integrated into stationary, marketing materials, signage, and a new website.
The challenge in designing the website was to create a site that would effectively serve several diverse audiences, including customers, growers and exporters, and the media. Orbis was able create a functional and visually appealing site that allowed all visitors to easily find the information relevant to them. The Orbis Content Management system was utilized to allow Sunny Valley staff to effortlessly update various sections of the site without the need for any technical knowledge. In addition, Orbis created a custom system to allow Sunny Valley to manage an email distribution list, giving the company another way to easily communicate with their customers, growers, exporters and the media.
Sunny Valley’s new logo and website now serve as key tools in the company’s mission to develop and maintain long-term relationships with their growers, exporters and customers.
